URGENT Message re Ballot

PLEASE READ THIS IMPORTANT MESSAGE FROM PANAC PRESIDENT, RONDA DYER

We experienced a glitch in our voting application. As a result, we had to create a NEW electronic ballot and begin the voting process again. If you have already voted, please vote again using this link. If you have not yet voted, please use the link in this email to submit your vote. A full explanation is included below. The prior ballot tool has been deleted and all votes were lost. Be sure to vote before Friday, October 17 when the survey will be closed and tallied. Results will be announced at the membership meeting at PANAC's Fall Seminar in Lake Tahoe.

I feel full transparency is vitally important. 

In creating the electronic ballot, I made a mistake. I created the ballot using the "create a free survey" through Survey Monkey. When I entered the app to check on the progress of voting, I discovered that I was only able to view 25 of the 30 responses received to date. I was offered the option to purchase access to the remaining votes. While trying to remedy the situation to maintain the integrity of the vote, my personal credit card was charged over $1500. To resolve this, and receive a refund, the account was terminated and the existing survey deleted. 

I informed the BOD and leadership of the problem. I then reached out to the ASPAN office for assistance. ASPAN has a Survey Monkey account with unlimited survey responses available. They graciously created a new ballot which will allow all of our nearly 1700 members' votes to be counted.
